A caregiver is responsible for providing continuous support for individuals who are at risk of falling, wandering, or self-injury. The caregiver must remain vigilant and attentive to the needs of the clients at all times, ensuring effective communication with the agency & nursing staff when necessary. Additionally, the caregiver monitors and reports any changes in the client's condition or behavior and documents these observations in the client's medical record. Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to safety procedures, and effectively communicating with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals are essential responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent observational and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to clients safety and satisfaction.

Requisitos


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assignment

  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

  • Compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality (such as HIPAA)
